Input device are the device through which data and instruction are entered into a computer. An input device converts data and instruction into electrical signals (binary form) that can be accepted by the computer.
There are devices available to ouput information from a copmuter. Two common input device are:

An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as a computer) to the outside world.

  • Who are Disabled people?
Disabilities is an umbrella term, it covers those people who has an problem regarding the following:
  1. covering impairments
  2. activity limitations
  3. participation restrictions.

An impairment is a problem in body function or structure; an activity limitation is a difficulty encountered by an individual in executing a task or action; while a participation restriction is a problem experienced by an individual in involvement in life situations. Thus disability is a complex phenomenon, reflecting an interaction between features of a person’s body and features of the society in which he or she lives.

The invention of this tiny device brings another hope to individual with severe disabilityto be more independent.

Screen magnifiers enlarge the information displayed on the computer screen in a range of magnifications and a variety of fonts. The magnifier my have the ability to create a large, scrolling virtual screen, or may only magnify the portion of the display near the mouse pointer. .

  • Augmentative communication
It solutions assist a user who is unable to articulate to communicate with others. Voice synthesizers, either hardware or software, can produce a variety of voices which are clearly understandable. The coupling of these devices with an on-screen keyboard and head-mounted activating switch can enable a severly disabled person to speak using a single switch. In addition, the combination with word completion software makes the system very efficient.
